Bookish Fun!

February TBR (2017)

Hey humans! Welcome to my February ‘TBR’. I will be doing a monthly TBR from now onward, to show what I will be reading this month and whether I will wrap it all up in a month. I will probably not, but I will try! So, without further ado, let’s get into it:

1. The Fire Sermon

Four hundred years in the future, the Earth has turned primitive following a nuclear fire that laid waste to civilization and nature. Though the radiation fallout has ended, for some unknowable reason every person is born with a twin. Of each pair one is an Alpha – physically perfect in every way – and the other an Omega burdened with deformity, small or large.

Cass is a rare Omega, one burdened with psychic foresight. While her twin, Zach, gains power on the Alpha Council, she dares to dream the most dangerous dream of all: equality.”

I can’t wait to read this book! It sounds so interesting and unique. Looking forward on reading this book!

2. Carve The Mark

“On a planet where violence and vengeance rule, in a galaxy where some are favored by fate, everyone develops a currentgift, a unique power meant to shape the future. While most benefit from their currentgifts, Akos and Cyra do not—their gifts make them vulnerable to others’ control. Can they reclaim their gifts, their fates, and their lives, and reset the balance of power in this world?”

I heard controversial reviews on this book, but I will still read it and give my own opinions and thoughts on it.

3. Twilight

About three things I was absolutely positive.

First, Edward was a vampire.

Second, there was a part of him—and I didn’t know how dominant that part might be—that thirsted for my blood.

And third, I was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him.”

Yes. I have not read the ‘Twilight’ Series yet. But I will be reading it soon! That’s why I am adding it into my February TBR list!

4. The Bane Chronicles

“This collection of eleven short stories illuminates the life of the enigmatic Magnus Bane, whose alluring personality, flamboyant style, and sharp wit populate the pages of Mortal Instruments and The Infernal Devices.”

I can’t wait to read this! I loved the world Cassandra Clare created! The world is so unique, beautiful and interesting!

*This is the end of my February TBR! Thanks for reading and I hope you all enjoyed this review! Bye for now!*
